Day 29: Twibbon lets your fans show support
with a badge on their avatars.
If you have an event to promote, a cause to share or even just a team to root for, you should consider Twibbon. The free service allows you to add a small logo to your Twitter avatar. For example, many Twitterers who planned on attending Birmingham’s Social South in August added the logo to their avatar (shown above).
You can also support charities such as Susan G. Komen for the Cure or football teams such as the Crimson Tide.
It’s a simple visual way to promote your cause and to get people talking and asking. Plus, when you see friends in your Twitter stream with matching badges, you already have a starting point for conversation.
