Pat,

I too enjoyed Wade's presentation. I thought Matt might be one of my former "artsy" students from UAB or UA so I proceeded to ask, "Do we know each other." It was one of my favorite WordCamp moments. Check it out http://80salumna.wordpress.com/2009/09/26/favorite-wordcamp-birmingham-moment-2/.

Hi Wade,
Yours was one of my favorite presentations at my WordCamp. Your interactive teaching style is the way to go.

Looking over your slides again, makes me chuckle because none of us knew at the time that the young kid sitting at the keyboard was Ma.tt! I was up in the front row to your right and could see him real well. I remember thinking how energetic and creative he was. Makes you smile when something like that happens. Anyway, kudos to your good work. Hope to see more of you around Birmingham.

PS - My three year old website is ready for WordPress!

Not every post is going to require a consideration of ethics. But if it comes up, the ethics walk we discussed can help you find a good solution.

Wade,

I really enjoyed this presentation at WordCamp this past weekend. I liked the "town-hall" discussion environment and appreciated your insights and knowledge on the subject matter. This discussion made it very clear that hitting the "publish" button is not something you do without thinking about the ramifications first!
